Invisible: Art about the Unseen 1957 - 2012


Invisible: Art about the Unseen 1957 - 2012 was an exhibition held this past summer at the Hayward Gallery in London. It covers experiments in the world of conceptual art that dealt inventively with eliminating the physical materiality of art works. It is important to remember that most of the work in this exhibition is actively engaged in questions related to the gallery as the place for exhibiting and selling art.
