This memorial in Hyde Park honors the victims of the London Bombings on July 7th, 2005. Each of the 52 stainless steel pillars represents a life that was lost, and the four clusters of columns correlate to the four different locations where the bombings occurred.
The memorial is designed by a team including architects Carmody Groarke and engineering team Arup, with oversight from the families of the victims.
