I thought it would be cool to post some monuments and memorials located in Ann Arbor,since they are easily accessible for us to visit, and at the same time it is a good way to learn a little history about the city we live in.

Located near the Diag, Artist Albin Polasek sought to make something “dignified, with a touch of youthful delight.” The fountain was a gift of alumnus Francis Hamilton, who served as mayor of Ann Arbor from 1905-1907.
